1. Why should I rent equipment?
Renting makes it easy for you to get your job done. You do not have to make any investment in the equipment or tools that you probably will only use once or twice. Allstate maintains a large inventory of tools and equipment. We work hard to keep these items serviced and ready to rent.
2. What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. On Saturday we are open from 7:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. We are closed on Sunday.
3. Do you have any special weekend rates?
Yes we do. If you rent on Saturday, your rental is due back Monday morning, by 8:30 A.M. and that is considered a one-day rental. This is another way for you to save money on your rental.
4. What if I do not have any experience with the tool I need to use?
Our counter and yard staff will explain the proper use of the tools and equipment being rented. We want you to be satisfied with the work you do using our equipment.
5. What if I forget to return my rented tool on time, and return late?
In order to offer the substantial line of tools and equipment that we have, we charge for time out, not time used. So depending on when you do return the item you may have some added charges for the time the equipment was actually out. When you realize you are running late or have forgotten, we suggest that you call immediately so we can stop the time on your rental.
6. Where is Allstate located?
We are in Lake Worth, Palm Beach County at 3285 South Military Trail at the corner of 10th Ave. North. We are on the Southwest corner. NEW LOCATION 912 N. Dixie Highway Boca Raton. 1/4 mile south of Glades Road.
7. What do you require of me to rent from Allstate?
We require that you have a valid driver's license, a local address and phone number. You can pay in cash, check or credit card. Your credit card covers the deposit required for the item you are renting.
8. What paperwork is prepared when renting?
Our computerized system prepares a rental contract customized just for you. All items should be returned to the yard where our professional service staff can help you unload.
9. What happens if the equipment I rented will not work properly?
While this rarely occurs, we are prepared to assist you. Where Allstate shines compared to other rental companies, is that our service staff can help talk you through the problem. On bigger equipment, if that does not work, we can send one of our service staff to you. We may be able to fix the problem or swap out the equipment. Our goal is for you to have the best rental experience as possible.
10. Can you service equipment that I own?
Yes we can. We service all types of Gasoline, Diesel, and Electric equipment. We maintain a large inventory of parts and common consumable items.
11. How long will it take me to rent an item?
We have you in and out in a matter of minutes. There are no long lines for you to queue up at. Our friendly counter staff will have you on your way very quickly.
12. I want to rent an item but do not need it today?
We offer a reservation service for our customers. You can reserve any item in advance. All we ask is that you pick up your reservation by 8:30 A. M. of the day you have it reserved for. We will enter your reservation into our computer system so we know not to rent the i tem you have reserved on the day you want it.
13. What credit cards and checks do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. With proper ID we do accept checks.
